Jake Forester

Jake Forester (Steven R. McQueen ) is Sheriff Julie Forester (Elisabeth Shue) son. Due to the hectic time for Julie, Jake is made to stay in and look after his younger siblings, Zane Forester (Sage Ryan) and Laura Forester (Brooklynn Proulx), instead of patying with the other spring-break partiers. While checking out the events, he bumps into Danni (Kelly Brook), Crystal (Riley Steele) and Derrick Jones (Jerry O'Connell) who are shooting a porno on the lake. Derrick hires Jake as a location scout as he knows the lake well. The next day he bribes both Laura and Zane not to tell their mom that he is going out. He arrives to Derrick's boat and is enjoyed to see Danni and Crystal dancing to a crowd. However just before he gets on the boat, he bumps into his love interest Kelly Driscoll (Jessica Szohr) who is revealed to have broken up with her boyfriend. Derrick invites Kelly onto the boat, much to the dissapointment of Jake who feels he would enjoy the day more if she were not there. While on the boat, Jake enjoys watching the porno being made and is shown to show an interest in Kelly despite reassuring everyone they are not in a relationship. As the day goes on, Jake begins to annoy Derrick who becomes aggresive towards him. When Jake discovers Laura and Zane have become stranded on an island he black-mails Derrick into helping them, however after doing so the boat crashes into rocks. When Julie arrives to the boat, both Derrick and Crystal have been killed, along with the camera man Drew (Paul Scheer). Instead of escaping the sinking boat along with his mom and siblings (Danni is killed doing so) he stays on the boat to help Kelly who has become trapped in the bottom of the boat. He dumps the lifeless Derrick into the water and ties a rope from the other boat around his waist. He enters the bottom of the boat and grabs Kelly, before setting off an explosive.
