Anne Steele was first introduced as Chanterelle, a vampire worshipper who wanted to become a vampire, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the episode Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Lie to Me (#2.7). She next appeared under the name Lily living in Los Angeles with her boyfriend Ricky in the episode Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Anne (#3.1). At the end of that episode, she took the name Anne which Buffy had been living under. She crossed over to the series Angel running a youth center for homeless children. Her first Angel episode was Angel: Blood Money (#2.12) followed closely by the episode Angel: The Thin Dead Line (#2.14). She appeared briefly in the series finale Angel: Not Fade Away (#5.22).
