Tim Seyfert

Tim was born and raised in Northern California and has been in love with cinema for as long as he can remember. His passion for movies first developed when he watched Superman as a child. The famous helicopter rescue sequence still remains his all-time favorite film moment.He went on to study journalism at San Francisco State University and after graduating with a bachelor of arts, worked as a production assistant for CBS news and then later as a newspaper reporter.His journey into film and television began when, thirsting for a new challenge, he decided to relocate to the United Kingdom to study filmmaking at the University of Bristol, which in turn led to his discovery of acting.In 2008, he landed his first professional acting role as King Arthur in the historical series Mystery Files, which aired globally on The National Geographic Channel and The Discovery Channel.This was followed up with the lead role in the art house film short Time Travel Boyfriends, which won the Prix Radi Award at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.Since then, Tim has worked steadily in both film and television, including stints on the latest season of the FOX television series 24: Live Another Day and the award-winning dystopian film Synthetica.Whenever he is not acting, Tim lectures English at a college in Southwest England and writes screenplays and short stories.
