Sofia Troop born to French Canadian mother, Nicole Troop and Canadian father Ian Troop, is a native to Toronto, Canada. Raised around the world, Sofia was born in Mexico City and grew up Warsaw, Poland, and Cincinnati, Ohio. After settling down in Georgetown, Ontario Sofia excelled in a wide variety of sports and extra curriculars. She received her black belt in Taekwondo and continued on to play high school basketball, volleyball, and soccer. She also played elite hockey her entire life, playing Junior in grade 12 and later joining the varsity Woman's hockey team at Queens University.Throughout her high school career, Sofia was closely involved with her schools drama club, performing in all the school plays. Sofia started university at Queens, with a major in Religious Studies and Gender Studies while playing for the varsity team.Following her passions, Sofia is an adventurous, open-minded individual with a great zest for life. Her passion is acting and she continues to study and play with great focus and determination.
