Glen was born in the Bronx, New York and raised there. He joined the NYPD in 1991. He was eventually promoted to sergeant-of-detective squad in the counter-terrorism training division. The training division was where Glen found out he loved acting as he played the parts of terrorists, active shooters, victims, witnesses, and any other role necessary to train NYPD police officers in role-play based training scenarios. Glen retired from the NYPD in 2012 and started a new career as a background actor and then moved on to speaking roles in film, theater, television and commercials.
