Born in Edmonton and raised all over Canada, from the south shores of Prince Edward Island to the logging town of Powell River on BC's west coast, Alexis has been performing from the age of five.Home-schooled in her early years, she studied history in university before returning to her first love of acting, moving to Vancouver after graduating from film school in 2000.She is best known for her work on The Returned (2014), Supernatural (2014), Stargate: Atlantis (2008), and The L Word (2008); and also for her performances in plays such as The Winter's Tale, Closer, Speed-the-Plow, Proof, The Merry Widow, and Enchanted April.
