Born in Vientiane, Laos 1976 during the wake of the communist take-over, Ainoy's family fled Laos to neighboring Thailand and became refugees before boarding a flight to England. It was in London, England where Ainoy grew up and developed a passion for Art and Films. He became mostly influenced by the Martial Arts through watching Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan films. It was these two mediums of Martial Arts & Film combined that appealed to him to start training in Tai Chi under Rose Li and Shaolin Kung Fu under Shi Yanzi in London.Having developed his Martial skills in fighting he was able to get work in the film industry on Die Another Day (2002) as a stunt man, which was one of his first film jobs on a major Hollywood feature, which then led him to get another stunt job on Lara Croft Tomb Raider 2 The Cradle of Life (2003) and The Golden Compass (2006) also working as stunts. Other stunt work includes him as a samurai in 47 Ronin (2013) and landed him a role as an actor in Ninja 2 Shadow of a Tear (2013) as the Main Tough. 2015 finds Ainoy as the Fight Coordinator for 'River' working alongside writer and director Jamie M Dagg filming in his native country Laos.Ainoy has also produced and directed his own personal 'Action Shorts' entitled City Run (2007) and City Run the Movie (2013) both shot in Bangkok, Thailand. City Run is an on-going project he holds dear as his pet project and hopes to produce a full length action feature in the near future with A Thousand Stars Producer and Director Andy Leerock.
